Decision Making Workshop

College students often face situations that require them to reflect on their values in order to make sound ethical decisions. This workshop, co-facilitated by staff from Health & Wellness Services and Student Housing & Residential Life, utilizes interactive activities to engage students in dialogue with each other as they learn about how personal experiences, relationships, and the role of leadership influence the decision making process.

Restoration Planting at Upper Carr Lake

Volunteers are invited to help clean up trash, remove invasive weeds, and plant native plants at Upper Carr Lake. Ongoing restoration efforts at Upper Carr Lake have made this a thriving, frequently enjoyed public space and an important habitat for many birds and other wildlife.

RON events are a great way to learn more about where you live, meet new people, get community service hours, and help protect our clean water supply and natural habitat. FREE.

Tools, water and great snacks provided for this special event!

Cosmic Bowling Tournament

The annual Homecoming Cosmic Bowling Tournament at Monterey Lanes happens at 9 p.m. on Valentine¿s Day, February 14. The tournament features twenty four six-person teams in competition to see who has the highest collective team score. Each team is competing for an ¿Intramural Champions¿ t-shirts. The night includes a practice bowl (approximately 15 minutes) and a two-game tournament (approximately 1.5 hours). CSUMB students bowl for free.

Just like in the Harry Potter movies, but without the flying. What about the flying snitch?... We will have a runner dressed in all gold that the seekers chase! Grab your broom and come out and play. Each team will get 1 game on Friday to practice your skills, before we begin the Single Elimination Tournament on Saturday. Games are 20 minutes long, and end when you catch the snitch!

We will be holding practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and the tournament on Friday and Saturday.

The CSUMB Women's and Men's Basketball teams host UC San Diego in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) game at The Otter Sports Center located at the corner of 2nd Street and Inter-Garrison Road. Tip-off is scheduled for Women at 5:30 pm and Men follow at 7:30 pm.

Decision Making Workshop

This workshop, co-facilitated by staff from Health & Wellness Services and Student Housing & Residential Life, utilizes interactive activities to engage students in dialogue with each other as they learn about how personal experiences, relationships, and the role of leadership influence the decision making process.

Restoration Planting at Upper Carr Lake

Quidditch Tournament

Each team will get 1 game on Friday to practice your skills, before we begin the Single Elimination Tournament on Saturday. Games are 20 minutes long, and end when you catch the snitch!

We will be holding practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and the tournament on Friday and Saturday.
