The CSUMB Women's Volleyball team plays a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match at the Otter Sports Center located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Inter-Garrison. The first serve is scheduled at 7:00 PM.

Out and About is hosting a showing an LGBTQ related movie

Cookie Dough Fundraiser
A fundraiser for the sisters of Theta Alpha Sigma where one can order cookie dough ahead of time and receive it in a period of time.

Faculty are invited to chat with Kathy Cruz Uribe, Provost; Mary Roberts, Director of Academic Personnel Services; and Steve Watkins, Librarian, on the topic of Retention, Tenure, and Promotion. This event is one in a series of Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment's Bring Your Own Brown Bag gatherings for all faculty. Refreshments provided.

International study options will be discussed. We'll walk through the application process and help students prepare for the Feb. 1 application deadline.

Have students donate canned foods which will be donated to the Salvation Army.

The film documents the forced removal of the Cherokee Nation from the southeastern United States to Oklahoma in 1838. Steven R. Heape, the film's executive producer and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and Patti Jo King, American Indian hisorian & lecturer and advisor on the film will be on had to discuss the film and answer questions. Doors Open at 5:30pm

International table for all interested in studying abroad. Students who have studied abroad and printed material will be on hand as resources to help guide students as they plan for a year abroad.

Event to help promote the awareness of Sweatshops in the garment industry. We will be displaying examples of clothes that are made by sweatshops and we will also be passing out small fact sheets to help inform those who visit our table.

CSUMB Music and Performing Arts department will present William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream. Free Event and Free parking in lot 97.

November 12-14
7:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

We will be bringing in Simon Cedillo who is an activist and travels all around the world and films documentaries. He will be talking about his recent travels and may be showing a documentary. His documentaries are about injustices happening around the globe that many people are not aware of.

Students often face situations that require them to introspectively explore their values in order to make sound ethical decisions. CSUMB faculty and staff facilitate this opportunity where students will learn guiding principles and decision making skills that will enhance their abilities to be successful within, and beyond, their higher education experience.

The Poetry Slam is an Open Mic night where students are invited to share songs, poems, or speeches with the student body.
