Restoration Planting on Fort Ord

Since 1994 Return of the Natives (RON) has worked with community volunteers and the BLM to restore and revitalize Ft. Ord. Volunteers are invited to come and enjoy the scenery, plant native plants, and help restore the natural beauty of Ft. Ord.
Everyone is welcome! FREE. Tools, water, great snacks, and LIVE LOCAL MUSIC provided.
To locate the Ft. Ord Public Lands, follow signs from Gigling Rd. & Parker Flats Rd. in Marina. Look for the RON & BLM community event signs!

Come out to the Marina Dunes to help Return of the Natives restore a critical habitat! The Marina Dunes Open Space Preserve is a beautiful restoration site, overlooking the ocean. Volunteers are needed to help plant native plants and remove invasive weeds.
RON events are a great way to learn more about where you live, meet new people, get community service hours, and help protect our clean water supply and natural habitat. FREE.
Tools, water and great snacks provided for this special event!
Directions: Located on Dunes Drive just off Reservation Road (Exit 410 on Hwy 1), past Kula's Steakhouse.
